Gorgeous Wedding at Hayes Hollow at Hidden Falls
Even as a kid, I loved photography, taking pictures with disposable cameras as often as I could. Then - in my mid-20s - my husband gifted me a Canon point-and-shoot, and I embarked on a journey, one that would take my photography to the next level. While I knew next to nothing about professional photography, it captivated me.

Wow, what an unforgettable night! Micaela and Kyle celebrated their wedding at Hayes Hollow, a hidden gem located deep within the beauty of the Texas Hill Country, during a beautifully brisk December evening.
A beautiful handmade wooden cross stood tall at the top of the alter atop the stone stairs, a gift from Micaela’s father crafted especially for the ceremony. This touching gift meant everything to Micaela and Kyle. Micaela proudly talked about how her father made the intricate cross for their wedding ceremony. During the ceremony, Micaela teared up as she read her vows to Kyle, standing under ger father’s beautiful gift. The touching words they shared about each other had guests in tears. Everyone present could tell by the profound words Micaela’s mother and Kyle’s father shared about their new family members how absolutely loved they are. Kyle’s father reminisced about the first fishing trip with Kyle and Micaela, and how impressed and thrilled he was that Micaela also excitedly joined in. Their first fishing trip together could be any story, but this particular moment stood out as this was one of the first time’s Kyle’s father was aware that Micaela was going to be a part of the family forever.
The night was filled with pure joy, excitement, and happiness. Micaela incorporated touching and beautiful traditional Mexican wedding traditions such as a snake dance and an amazing live mariachi band that serenaded the newly wed couple.
From beginning to end the day was filled with palpable positive energy, visible love, and an ever present excitement for new beginnings.
Micaela and Kyle, thank you from the bottom of my heart for entrusting me to capture your wedding day. I’m so excited to share a few of my many, many favorites with you on Christmas Eve and hope that they take you back to that magical day!
